Learn more about CIGS Portable Solar Blanket

CIGS Portable Solar Blanket vs. Other Foldable Solar Panel

In harsh conditions, traditional folding solar panels can result in energy loss and a 20% decrease in efficiency after just two years, possibly necessitating a complete panel replacement. But our new solar panels are engineered to prevent energy loss and maintain peak performance for up to 20 years.

HIGHLIGHTS

CIGS THIN FILM TECHNOLOGY

The Paso 100W CIGS Portable Solar Blanket is made with Copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin film solar cell technology, which is more stable, durable, and sensitive to light than traditional monocrystalline silicon solar cells. It has a longer service life and is not fragile, making it more resistant to damage from bumps and rough handling.

MORE STABLE OUTPUT

The Paso 100W Solar Blanket features diodes for stable output, even in low sunlight and cloudy conditions. It's more stable than traditional monocrystalline silicon panels and will harvest more energy in partial shade or low light conditions.

LIGHTWEIGHT & FOLDABLE

Weighing only 2.2kg/4.90lbs, Paso 100W CIGS Portable Solar Blanket is one of the lightest on the market. It's easy to carry, even for the elderly and children, and comes with a convenient handbag for outdoor use. The panel is also foldable, making it easy to store and transport.

WATER-RESISTANT AND DURABLE

With an IP65 water-resistant rating, this solar panel can withstand wet outdoor environments, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as camping, mountaineering, hiking, picnics, and more. It's a reliable and durable option for all of your outdoor adventures.

FAQ

Yes, it can charge a lithium battery, but the output and charging speed will depend on the voltage and current of the battery.

CIGS foldable solar panels are more versatile and can be installed on uneven or curved surfaces like RV roofs. Additionally, CIGS thin film solar cells are more resilient, sensitive to light, and have a longer lifespan.

This Paso solar panel only comes with a bag and the panel itself. You will need to purchase a solar charge controller separately to regulate the flow of electricity from the panel to your battery.
